The main objective of the PASMO project - Open Platform for the development and experimentation of Mobility Solutions is the design, implementation in the field and provision of a support platform for intelligent mobility, open to the participatory experimentation of companies that can effectively collaborate to test (technology ) and validate (market) equipment, protocols, processes, applications, standards and services.
The PASMO platform - Open Platform for the development and experimentation of Mobility Solutions will consist of three subsystems, reflecting the different layers of intelligent transport systems:

These components, with equipment, interfaces and open data, will be integrated and made available for experimentation to companies, after 12 months of project development, creating what may be an open innovation ecosystem (Living Lab) in the Systems and Services area Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in the central region. Intelligent Transport Systems and Services are advanced applications that aim to provide innovative services related to different modes of transport, in order to make the use of transport networks safer, more efficient, more reliable, more coordinated and "more intelligent". The implementation and corresponding availability of the PASMO platform - Open Platform for the development and experimentation of Mobility Solutions, will:

• Enable companies with high innovation potential to have technical validation and visibility to enter, or reinforce their position, in new markets;

• Open a line of development and experimentation and new services and applications, based on the collection and analysis of large amounts of georeferenced data;

• Reduce time-to-market, by maximizing the quality of experimentation through complete control of the test environment;

• Promote the emergence of spin-off companies, which can take advantage of the open platform for experimentation and demonstration;

• Create an intelligent community in the Center of the Country in the area of ​​intelligent transport systems that will promote awareness of new behaviors of the general public regarding intelligent and sustainable transport systems in your region;
